In keeping with the tradition that we have had on most of the Octobers since we have been back in Maryland, we headed to the pumpkin farm on the weekend before Halloween. It's a nice way to start the Halloween festivities, and usually the leaves around here are at their peak right then too, so we enjoyed the scenic ride up there. 
We took a hayride behind a tractor. It drives around a small lake, through a creek, into the woods where they have little characters hidden (like Harry Potter and friends, Winnie the Pooh, etc.), and by the pumpkin patch.
We played in the straw maze, and successfully found our way back out. This was an instance where my being tall came in handy. It was great fun for Drew and Sydney.
Matt's favorite part was sitting on this tractor. He played on it for about 15 minutes while Andy went through the maze with Drew and Sydney, but he was still angry when it was time to get off.
We had to take a picture on the big pumpkins.

LOVE the last picture of Drew. We missed the orchard festivities this year as it rained every weekend in October. Glad to see you all had fun.

It is uncanny how much your kids look like Tammy's! Looks like lots of fun. :)
so cute!! I am so sad we missed it this year! and Petra is right...Gred does look an awful lot like Drew, and we have already established the Matt/David connection! I think sydney is her mommy's 'mini-me'
